Service is a radical concept in today’s post-modern culture.  Most in the modern world we live in do not understand the idea of servant leadership because it has never been modeled for them, and unfortunately it is not esteemed—even in our churches as it used to be.At First Class, we want to model Christ in the way that we serve the families who enroll in the ministry.  As Christians devoted to serving one another in love, we realize that service is the central aspect of leadership; the leaders serve the people they are leading.

 

First Class has a wonderful history of encouraging it’s members through those in leadership. Many in leadership in the homeschooling community are known for their hearts to serve, as they often dedicate great portions of their time and energy serving others as well as their own families.

When you take the leadership of your local First Class, be encouraged that the Lord has equipped you to lead.  Leading like Christ, requires that you invest yourself in the lives of others.

As you invest in your local homeschool community, you will see many opportunities to serve. Listen, honor, help and encourage your team and the parents that God brings to your ministry.
