Currently, we have openings in these areas:

 

IT Support

IT support primarily consists of maintaining the First Class Homeschool Database.  The database holds records of all of the members in FCHM. Jobs include, but are not limited to, helping members with minor registration and family record management issues, finding more sufficient ways for the database to function, clean-up database, diagnose and fix system malfunctions, general website upkeep.

Communications

Firmly Planted Family Ministries and First Class Homeschool Ministries both have facebook pages, twitter, emails, and phone calls. So much of what we do in this ministry is be in direct communication with families. Communications jobs include updating and posting on social our social network pages, calling FCHM leaders, sending bulk emails, and more.

Marketing/Fundraising

Marketing: Join our team of marketers who’s primary responsibility is to call and speak with businesses about opportunities to support Firmly Planted. We trade promotion for their business for financial support. Our goal is to find businesses who have a passion for education, family and (ideally) discipleship and the Lord.

Fundraising: This team works closely with the marketing team to bring funds to Firmly Planted and FCHM. We have opportunities in organization, planning, promotion, and brainstorming new ways to raise funds.

Web Design

Firmly Planted Family Ministries and it’s branches: First Class, Real Life Press, the store, and The Busy Homeschool Mom each have their own websites that need to be constantly updated and designed. That is what this team does. They keep the web pages clean, crisp and fresh, as well as use their creativity to redesign and update the pages.

Grant Writing

Firmly Planted is in the process of pursuing grants from large organizations, such as the Murdock Grant. There are billions of dollars in America in grants, and we hope to share our vision with them and gain support. This team will pursue and write to these organizations. They will manage and update our ministry’s information as well as work directly with the grant organizations.

Accounting

This team keeps track of money going in and out of Firmly Planted & FCHM. They keep record and manage the funds.

Membership Coordinator

The Membership Coordinator answers questions that members might have about First Class. They are the "go to" person for members.

Materials Distribution

Every day Firmly Planted and Busy Homeschool Mom books are ordered from all around the world. This team ships out orders to customers, as well as materials to co-ops, and mails info packets. They manage inventory and keep track of sales.
