We will be watching movie segments & learning what goes on inside the plants that manufacture and the different places that put together the things we see in everyday life.

A 6 What's inside?

Each week we will have Small broken appliances, clocks etc... We don't know if we can fix them but we are going to find out what is in them. Kids will be using tools to take apart stuff and we will find out what the different objects may have in common.

B 4 Lapbooking

Students can make 3 lapbooks over the 9 week session. We will assemble the first lapbook on the first day of class together (I'll bring the researched topic), then students will choose their own subjects for the remaining 2 lapbooks.

B 5 Spanish

We will be learning conversational Spanish. Elementary level everyday things.

B 6 Beginning-intermediate Sewing

JR & SR Higher's will be constructing an apron made from a used pair of pants and 1/2 yard of cotton fabric. We will be using a sewing machine so a basic knowledge of your machine would be great. You will need to bring a used pair of pants if you have.

C 4 Photography

We will be learning about how to use your camera (Digital preferred) each student will need to bring their own camera as each day we will learn a new aspect of the camera. The students will bring back evidence of what they have learned each week.

C 6 Guest Teacher 1st - 6th Grade

Each week we will have a guest teacher. The subjects may be Missionaries, Hobbies, Crafts, Stories, Demonstrations, Bible verses, History and various other subjects.
