**Spokane Area Homeschoolers**

This Fall we are offering Middle School &

High School Classes on Thursdays.

The Classes will run for 8 weeks Starting on September 29th and ending November 17th. The First Class will begin at 3:15pm and go until 4:15pm the second class will begin at 4:30pm and go until 5:30pm. The Classes will be held in the Parents room of the Children's Building of Calvary Spokane and there is a limit of 30 students per class. Both Classes are a video series from Answers in Genisis each class will involve viewing the 20 - 30 minute video and then discussing what has been viewed by using an intergrated Bible study format. The students may take both classes or only one of the classes. These classes are offered for Home, Private and Public School Children. First Class Spokane is a Ministry to Home schooling families but it is also our desire to minister to the whole body of Christ. This class is offered to all whether they are a member of First Class or not. So there is just a fee for the class this time.

What is being offered by Spokane First Class you may ask ?

Thursdays: 2 Answers in Genesis Classes

 The 3:15pm - 4:15pm class is Body of Evidence: Former medical university professor Dr. Menton takes two teens on a teaching-tour through the major systems of the body. Dr. Menton is loved worldwide for his humorous and insightful talks that leave audiences in hushed awe at the Creator's wisdom. In this series, Menton employs anatomical props, models, and microscopic images to teach about God's amazing designs for life. This will be taught by Joan Thompson. The fee for the class and it's work book and materials will be $5.00.

The 4:30pm - 5:30pm class is Demolishing Strongholds. Demolishing Strongholds features four highly engaging speakers: Ken Ham, Bill Jack, Charles Ware, and Carl Kerby. Each will prepare your students to stand firm on the authority of God's Word, and each will equip and challenge them to activate their faith! This will be taught by Jane Vergine. The fee for the class and it's work book and materials will be $7.00.

What do I need to do to become a member or register for classes?

If you would like to charter a First Class Homeschool Ministry at your church, please contact us! First Class has a vision to connect the homeschooling community by planting other FCHM co-ops where they are desired.
