Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. We will be supplying hamburgers and the fixings for them. All we ask is that each family bring a side dish and lawn chairs, if you have them.

There is plenty of lawn space so there will be tons of room for all who wish to camp. If you can't stay the night, or just wish to sleep in your own bed, please feel free to come to the potluck dinner and enjoy a good time.

What is First Class?

FCHM is working with parents and pastors to establish an international network of homeschool cooperatives. We are praying for homeschool co-ops to become a "staple" of church ministry. We desire to be a resource center where members can find practical and spiritual information to assist them in their commitment to homeschooling.
Classes meet on Mondays in two sessions/ Fall- 8 weeks & Spring- 10 weeks
Classes are taught by parents and volunteers according to their abilities and interests
Everyone takes an active part in the education and spiritual development of the children

Monday's Schedule

9:00-9:30 Chapel

9:35-10:30 Hour 1

10:35-11:20 Hour 2

11:25-12:15 Hour 3

12:15-1:15 Clean up (everyone participates)

and Family Lunch (optional)

Fees

$25/year National fee paid directly to First Class
$25/year Local fee paid at time of registration for classes
Minimun of $3 per class (may be adjusted by teacher according to supplies needed to each the class)

VISION

First Class began with one co-op in Mount Vernon, Washington in 2000. Since that time, FCHM has become a national ministry, partnering with thousands of families who are part of many independently run First Class Homeschool ministries.

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS

Recent statistics indicate that homeschooling is growing at an incredible rate. Homeschoolers thrive when they are connected with other homeschooling families. When parents pool their resources and talents together for a common goal amazing things happen!

At FCHM we believe that God Has equipped you with everything that you need to educate your children at home. Our mission is to support you in your commitment to teach you children and introduce your family to the homeschool community around you.
