Welcome to First Class Battle Ground

Our First Session of classes at FCBG are over! Spring session was a great success!

Unfortunately, our host facility is going through some major build projects so we will not be having Fall classes at Community Baptist Church on Parkway. Your FCBG board of directors has been diligently searching for a facility to host us for the Fall session of Friday School. So far, no doors have been opened to us. It seems that all facilities in the area are either being used, or are not adequately sized for our needs.

I was reminded recently that sometimes God closes doors and then opens others that bring us closer to His way of thinking. In other words, sometimes God closes one door and we should look for Him to open another.

In Acts 16, Paul and his companions were directed by the Holy Spirit to NOT travel and preach in Asia. Maybe this is God telling us through His Holy Spirit that we should be doing something else? Though we have not "seen a vision" as Paul did in vs. 9, we are confident that God will show us where we are to be in His timing. Paul listened to the direction of the Holy Spirit and we believe that we should do the same.

Please stay tuned as we have lots of ideas for the Fall as far as group activities are concerned.
