Co-op Information

 

Here are some things you should know about the First Class Homeschool Ministries "Friday School:"

• The co-op meets on Fridays at First Christian Church in Johnson City.  Our Fall 2010 semester will be Sept 10-Nov 19

• We want to serve you and make your homeschool job easier.  Let us know how we can serve your family!
• You can be part of any homeschool support group and participate in the First Class co-op
• Anyone can participate in the co-op; leadership and teachers must adhere to Christian beliefs
• Service is an integral part of the ministry - parents and students alike participate in clean-up as well as showing respect for other families and the church's facilities

• This is a co-operative education program where participation by parent(s) is essential to the success of the co-op.

Schedule

Since we will have announcements first, all families are required to be in the meeting room for announcements and chapel each week.  Chapel will start at 9:00, and students are dismissed to classes at 9:30.

9:00-Chapel

9:30-   Block 1

10:30- Block 2

11:30-  Block 3

12:30- gather for afternoon announcements and dismissal  

Clean up following each class, including more in-depth clean up at 12:30.

• If you would like to stay for lunch, you are welcome to join us in one of the classrooms, or in the covered pavilian behind the church.
