September

Wed, 1st- Kayaking 5:30-8pm If you missed the last trip, here is another chance!  We will learn about the boat & safety and then go on the water.  Bring camera, water and a snack.  $40/pp  The river is beautiful at night, great couples outting!  You must RSVP by Tues 10am: 503-327-4626

Wed, 8th- Teachers' Meeting at 6:30  All teachers and helpers listed on class application are required to attend as we will discuss schedule, safety guidelines, and more.

Wed, 8th- Family Orientation at 7:30  This is a mandatory meeting to review Monday School policies and procedures; at least one parent from each family must attend. 

Thurs, 9th- Tabernacle Tour Field Trip 4pm/5:30pm RSVP to Jenifer Keikkala.  This is a life sized replica of the Hebrew Tabernacle, for more info check out the website

Fri, 10th- Oaks Park "Not Back to School Day" 11am-4pm, This is a great homeschool event that is held every year. The deluxe ride bracelets are only $10.

Sat, 11th- 10am FC Gresham Co-op Mom's Breakfast Lets meet our sister Co-ops and have a time of fellowship. RSVP: esther.shuell@gmail.com (6308 Se 29th Way, Gresham 97080)

Mon, 13th- 9am Monday School Starts!

Tues, 14th- 7pm Father/Son Outtings Informational meeting for the Father/Son outtings.  This is an hour long meeting to discuss the future meetings and what you will need.  Meet at 421 Barclay Ave, Oregon City, 97045  Jenifer/Matt 503-722-9177

Mon, 20th- 1:30pm FCHV Teen Hike Right after Monday School

Sat, 25th- 10am-12pm Day with My Daughter (ages 7+) The purpose of this trip is to encourage our daughters in what wonderful people they are and to show them all that the Lord has for them.  Similar to a purity pledge, but less focus on "waiting until you are married" and more about the Lord's plan for our girls.  Fun, crafts, scripture, fellowship!  We will focus on what we value about our daughter and her strengths (and what weakenesses she will need to watch out for-hastiness, anger, selfishness). Mon/Tues, 11th/12th- Great Wolf Lodge Homeschool Trip Contact Kerry Jo Brady from our sister Gresham Co-op (KJ@e4mail.net) for reservation and special deep-discounted pricing!  Note: we are also on a Monday School Break this week.

Sat, 23rd- FCHM Fundraiser Come learn more about First Class Homescool Ministries and what the Lord is doing across the country with homeschooling. $10/pp  Everyone welcome to attend.  If you are in a leadership role please make plans to attend!

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip-TBA
